Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Harvey's Commodities ("we", "us") collects and uses information about our customers and business partners, including through our customer portal and our text-messaging program.

Information we collect

We collect business contact information (names, company names, addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers), order and delivery records, and — when a customer opts in to text updates through the customer portal — the mobile phone number provided, the consent language agreed to, and the date and account that recorded the opt-in.

How we use it

We use this information to operate our business with you: confirming orders, arranging and tracking deliveries, sending delivery schedules and account service messages, invoicing, and responding to inquiries. If you opt in to text updates, we use your mobile number to send the messages described in our Text Messaging Terms & Conditions: order confirmations and links, load and delivery status, and weekly delivery schedules. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

Text messaging consent data is never shared

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your mobile phone number, text messaging originator opt-in data, or consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of information described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information is not shared with any third parties.

Sharing with service providers

We use service providers strictly to deliver our own communications and operate our systems (for example, a messaging carrier to transmit the texts you asked for and hosting providers for the portal). They may process data only on our behalf and for no other purpose. We do not sell customer information to anyone.

Opting out and data retention

You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message or by removing your number in the portal's settings; we keep a record of the opt-out so we don't text that number again. We retain business records (orders, deliveries, consent and opt-out records) as required for our operations and legal obligations.
